Senator Schumer was widely informed about events and activities done by TABID , Peace Islands Institute ( PII ) and member organizations. Senator Schumer, was really pleased with the efforts put forward by TABID and the Turkish businessman. Senator Schumer talked about his recent trip to Turkey, he said Turkey was very beautiful, and said he came back with great observations. He said he was were interested in geography and asked everyone in the meeting which part of Turkey they were from. Also mentioned the importance of Turkish-American relations.
